Request for Professional Services 

Columbus City Schools is issuing a Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for the following project: 

Feasibility Study for Centralized and Regional Wellness Centers: the scope of this project includes an analysis to determine the feasibility of establishing a Centralized Wellness Facility and four (4) Regional Wellness Centers within the Columbus City School district. The feasibility study is to include an assessment of existing academic buildings to identify preferred regional wellness center locations; preliminary layout within buildings; analysis of potential services to be offered at each location; identification of potential service providers; development of a business plan to determine the financial resources needed to establish and sustain the operations; and a plan and timeline for establishing the centers and implementing services. Deliverables to include interim memoranda/reports; draft and final reports with possible iterations as necessary that reflect comments and changes; PowerPoint presentations for public engagement meetings; and a final report delivered in Microsoft Word and PDF format and 25 bound copies. The feasibility study for the Central Wellness Facility is to be closely coordinated with the district’s administrative space consolidation project which will be announced separately. The feasibility study final draft is to be completed by August 3, 2012. A fee of $60,000 has been established for this project which is to include all project costs. Teams must include a licensed architectural firm, licensed engineering firm, a wellness/fitness consultant; and a financial planner.

CORRECTION

 The Columbus City Schools web site erroneously listed the response due date for the Financial Statement Preparation RFP as February 5, 2012.  The correct date is 4:00 p.m. on February 24.  Interested vendors must attend a mandatory vendor meeting at 2:00 p.m. on February 7, 2012.  More information can be found on the District’s web site at http://www.columbus.k12.oh.us
